FABULOUS floral design in this wide rimmed hand painted Paragon pansy tea cup.  Striking black background with yellow and pink pansies on a pastel yellow base.  Trimmed in gold.  The cup measures 2 inches tall by almost 4 inches wide.  The saucer measures 5 1/2 inches across.  The gold trim is in good condition with little if no wear evident.  The pattern inside the tea cup has a few black specks which looks like the original black background paint had spotted.  A FANTASTIC addition to your collection!

The Royal warrant backstamp would date this set between 1938-52, "By Appointment H.M. The Queen & H.M. Queen Mary, Fine Bone China, England, Regd".  The saucer is numbered G6600/5 %.  The backstamp is a purple color with double royal warrant.
