COLCLOUGH romantic red and white roses.  GORGEOUS lush roses accented in gold!  The gold trim appears to have some variations in goldtone, some areas have lighter gold, almost looks worn but not consistent, more like the gold was brushed when it was still wet.  This appears only on the larger scroll work on the side, the trim itself is solid.

The tea cup measures 2 1/2 inches tall and 3 1/4 inches across.  The saucer measues 5 1/2 inches across. Backstamp reads "Bone China E 56 2 Colclough Made in England. A Product of Ridgeway Potteries Ltd".  Also signed in gold "8244".  Probably circa 1970, when Ridgway Potteries became a division of Royal Doulton.
