FABULOUS DESIGN with a touch of STYLIZED FOLK ART! Vibrant blue bachelor buttons accent the inside of the cup and the saucer. To this is added a scalloped border of more tiny bachelor buttons and a burgundy and mustard colored striped border. There is minor gold trim on the cup lip that is worn, or was possibly missed in painting. The pattern is 8474, with backstamp " Aynsley England" in green. Possibly dates to the 1920s. The tea cup is 2 1/4" high by 4" wide, and the saucer is 5 1/2" across. |
