WONDERFUL blue vine leaves tea cup and saucer from COALPORT. Fabulous design and detailing from the famous Coalport line of fine bone china. The backstamp is from post war era 1945-1950, with an incised number 4 on the saucer, and with the stamp on the cup off-center. The unique teacup has a very wide mouth, scalloped edges, and is pedestal style with a loop handle and thumb rest. The set is trimmed in gold. The cup measures 2 1/4" tall and 4" across the top, while the saucer is 5 3/4" across. A FABULOUS RARE piece! |
