LOVELY lemon pudding colored background on this COLCLOUGH teacup and saucer, with delicately decorated poppy floral gilt.  The backstamp is from H. J. Colclough and seems to resemble the circa 1945 stamp.  Pattern number IS 1624.  The footed cup measures 2 3/4" high, and 3 1/2" wide, with a wavy rim.  The saucer measures 5 1/2" wide with a wavy edge.  A truly DELIGHTFUL SET!
