A WONDERFUL Paragon Minuet tea cup and saucer.  Roses and scrollwork on a pastel buttercream background liberally trimmed in gilt.  The teacup has a wavy gilt trimmed foot and trimmed handle and thumb rest.  Gilt trim on fairly deep scalloped cup rim, foot and saucer rim.  Backstamp resembles one used 1938-1952.  The tea cup measures 4" across rim and 2 1/4" high, saucer measures 5 1/2" across.  Background color is a linen or cream.  The yellow wash on the set is darker at the ridges and joints of the handle and foot.
