FABULOUS bright baby pink with fancy beadwork, satin trim, lined, 100% wool, made for ROBINSON's in the British Crown Colony of Hong Kong - hand decorated.  Excellent workmanship!  The fantastic sweater collar is all heavy beadwork using large and small sequins, seed beads, aurora borealis beads, and bugle beads.  The flowers are raised, and are made up of AB pearlized sequins with centre AB faceted 1/2 bead with mirror backs.  The smaller flower centers are pink mini seed beads. Drop beadwork hangs over the side of the collar.

The collar measures 2 1/2" across in beading and with the satin to the neckline it is 3". Collar is satin underneath. The trim on front, sleeve and bottom is 1" satin. The inside is all lined, including the sleeves. The dark baby pink color is absolutely fantastic. There are hooks on the inside satin on the front to hook to the pink threads. The underside of the collar has two hooks to close the front of the collar.

This sweater is from an estate sale, probably from the mid 40's to 50's, and is in its original found condition, with its original folds.  It has not been ironed.  No wear marks, pulls, missing beads, stains or discoloration.
