FABULOUS Renoir Matisse signed copper necklace with gradient red enamel finish.  The necklace measures 15 inches long.  Each enamelled piece is dark burgundy red on the outside edge, which gradually lightens into an orange red color.  The enamelled pieces vary in length from 1/2 inch to 1 inch, giving the necklace a flowing neck hugging look.  No apparent chips or cracks in the red enamel.  Light wear on the front of the necklace, consistent with use - more wear to the copper on the back.  The necklace is marked Matisse in script.  A WONDERFUL example of vintage mid-century modernist Matisse jewelry!
