FABULOUS modernist abstract curved dish by SASCHA BRASTOFF! Very decorative mix of colors - teal blue, olive green, browns, black and bold accents and gold splatter accent. The wonderfully stylized curved edge also adds to the ease of carrying the plate. Definitely an air of the 50s with its atomic design. Signed Sascha B, this dish measures 10 1/2" inches across the center, with the raised curve measuring 2 3/4". The plate design gives it a higher lip on the right side of the dish than on the left. The left lip of the dish is 3/4" high, and the right lip is 1 3/4" high. No evident chips, cracks or crazing. The underside shows some discoloration from sitting or soiling. The back of the dish has a gold rooster with the text Sascha Brastoff, California USA F42. |
